Worldwide wildlife photography tours

Wildlife photography tours, led in the field

From the Masai Mara to Patagonia, every Captivating Nature tour is a genuinely small group — three to six guests — led personally by Des and his team. Real days in the field, original itineraries, and the time to work each sighting properly.

Our trips are built around the sighting, not the schedule. Each is personally led by a member of the Captivating Nature team, limited to just three to six guests, and refined through years of scouting to maximise time in the field rather than in transit. Every tour is designed by photographers, for photographers.

Tour FAQ

Questions about our wildlife photography tours

How small are the groups on a Captivating Nature wildlife photography tour?

Every tour is capped at a genuine three to six guests — often three per vehicle on safari — so there is real space and time for each guest to work a sighting properly, not just a brief look before the group moves on.

Which destinations do your wildlife photography tours cover?

Current tours cover Kenya, Madagascar, India, Spain, Ecuador, Chile and Morocco, with new destinations added as they are scouted. If you do not see where you would like to go, our bespoke tours are built around your chosen destination and species.

How far in advance should I book a tour?

Because groups are genuinely small, popular tours and dates can sell out six to twelve months ahead. If a tour you want is fully booked, the waiting list link on that tour notifies you personally the moment a space opens.

Are your wildlife photography tours suitable for solo travellers?

Yes — a large proportion of our guests travel solo and join a small group of like-minded photographers. Some tours also offer single occupancy with no supplement.

We also arrange bespoke tours
